11 years ago I accidentally became the Google admin for my school. 😱 I don’t have a formal background in IT management and had NO IDEA what I was doing.

Most of the resources I found were too technical for me to understand, so I had to figure things out on my own. The Google Admin Bootcamp is the resource I needed.

My blog posts, videos, and courses will explain how to use the Google Admin console without all of the technical mumbo-jumbo. I’m here to help you navigate the admin console and make sure that your users, data, and devices are optimized for learning and safety.

When the Chromebook made it’s appearance in 2011 I knew it was the perfect device for the classroom. I spent years exploring, testing, listening, and watching the use of Chromebooks in classrooms. This research culminated in my first book, The Chromebook Classroom, which was released in 2016.

When I’m not speaking, writing, or researching technology in the classroom you can find me in my backyard with my wife, Nellie and our five kids: Jonelle (16), Johnny (14), Lillian (12), Ellie (10), and Caleb (8).
