Are there hidden issues hiding in your Google Workspace configuration?

Many schools have configured their Google admin policies over many years, little by little. This can result in a patchwork of policies and configurations that are (kinda) working, but filled with inefficiencies and inconsistencies.
Do you worry about…
- students installing problematic apps & extensions?
- sensitive documents being shared publicly?
- user account that aren’t properly secured?
- students accessing inappropriate content?
- performing investigations with Google Vault?
- securing the accounts of high-target individuals like board members and superintendents?
- maximizing the instructional value of your Chromebook fleet?
- missing out on features that could make your job easier?
If any of these concerns sound familiar, a Google Admin audit can give you confidence and peace of mind.
A Google Admin Audit is a comprehensive review of your entire Google Workspace environment to make sure that your data, users, and devices are safe and your policies are optimized for teaching and learning.
The audit process will give you peace of mind AND help you sharpen your ability to manage and maintain your system by teaching you best practices for managing and configuring users and devices.
During each audit I carefully review and document over 600+ configuration settings from the Google Admin Console to ensure that your users, services, and devices are optimized for security, usability, and scalability.
At the end of the audit you will receive a comprehensive written summary of your domain configuration as well as an actionable list of 6-12 critical items that need your immediate attention.
But that’s not all! Every Google Admin audit includes 3 months of virtual support to help you implement my recommendations. Together we will meet to tackle even the most challenging items uncovered through the audit process.

Frequently asked questions
“How long does an audit take?”
Each audit takes 4-6 weeks to complete. You can schedule an audit at any time.
“When is the best time to schedule an audit?”
While we are happy to start your audit at any time, most clients prefer to make major changes over the summer which means winter and early spring are ideal times to begin the audit process.
“How much does an audit cost”
Audits typically start at $3,000. There are several factors that contribute to the cost of an audit including the number of users and devices in your domain. Additional complexities such as integrated systems like active directory can also increase the cost of an audit.
“Do you work with grants or title funding?”
Yes! Many of our past clients have utilized state cyber security or title grants to schedule an audit. If you need additional documentation to apply for a grant, just get in touch!
“I’m new to the admin console, will I be able to understand the audit report?”
Yes! The final audit report is written in a clear and concise manner without “IT speak.” New and experienced admins will gain valuable insights from the final report.
“Can you help with merging two Google Workspace domains?”
Yes, we have assisted with several data migration and domain merge projects. Schedule a call so we can learn more about your needs.
“We are a small school, is an audit right for us?”
Yes! We do a lot of work with small private schools. Many of our clients don’t have a dedicated IT department which means their admin console is a patchwork of policies. An audit is a great way to get organized!
